Meet the Founder
Thomas Fantozzi — Beekeeper & Builder of This Apiary
Raised on a family farm in Patterson, California, Thomas grew up surrounded by orchards, crops, and the quiet hum of hardworking bees. Years later, a beekeeping class at Cal Poly reignited that early connection, inspiring him to begin with just two hives in 2017.
What started as curiosity became a passion—then a purpose. Today, Thomas oversees both the beekeeping and honey business, harvesting every batch by hand and staying true to the craft that shaped his journey.
Fantozzi Honey Co. is his way of preserving honest beekeeping traditions, supporting local agriculture, and sharing pure, small-batch honey rooted in respect for the land and the bees that make it all possible.
Our Process
Caring for the Hives
Our bees come first. We maintain healthy, stress-free hives and follow sustainable practices that support the long-term wellbeing of our colonies.
Harvesting Only Surplus Honey
We only take what the bees don’t need. This ensures the hive stays strong while preserving the natural balance of the colony.
Hand-Extracted
Honey is carefully hand-extracted at low temperatures to protect its natural enzymes, flavor, and nutrients.
